My first high school heart throb. A very patient, talented, sweet and gentle soul. I think he died just before our last class reunion. Kept in touch with him on/off when his band would play in night clubs around Salt Lake. Met my current husband at one of the clubs, celebrating my birthday and listening to Allen's band. Remember singing a Sony and Cher song with him..I Got You Babe. Remember many great musical concerts with him at the Terrace and Lagoon and winning the Patio Push dance contest at the Cottonwood Mall. Great memories. Sorry to hear of his death.
Alan Salisbury was born Sept. 4, 1948, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Thella Langford Salisbury and Lincoln Joseph Salisbury.
Alan graduated from Skyline High School in 1966. He served as a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, Vietnam. Alan was president of the Las Vegas corporation, Bicycle King. He resided in Las Vegas Nevada at the time of his passing, August 8, 1999. He is buried at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Alan and I grew up in the same neighborhood and ward. He was my grade school boyfriend. Went to "boy/girl" parties. He taught me how to play chess. I loved his family. He really was adorable with a great smile.
